DESCRIPTION:You are invited to come and join us at the Bee garden at Botani
 ka.\n\nThe aim of Bee Garden project is to increase public awareness of th
 e needs of bees and to demonstrate how anyone can make their garden more b
 ee friendly. We want to show that bee gardens are not just attractive to b
 ees but to other pollinators too. The Bee garden started in April 2019. Th
 is year we are now aiming to expand Botanika’s Bee Plot.\n\nWe will be w
 orking on the following:\n\n 	Weaving more hazel from another garden and t
 his has been used so far to create the back of a seating area and to creat
 e a division between the wild garden and the ‘English Garden’\n\n\n 	
 ·We will be dividing and planting perennials\, creating wood chip paths\n
 \n\n 	We will be talking about the pollinating plants that have been plant
 ed in the Bee garden.\n\n\n 	Our Bee keeper will give you a tour of our be
 e hives and explain the life of our bees.\n\nKate will give a tour of the 
 field where she runs her edible flower business\, Botanika.\n\nThere will 
 be an opportunity to find out more about edible flowers\, herbs\, and cut 
 flowers on the plot and to test some of our fresh herbal tea and cakes.\n\
 nPlease contact us to let us know whether you are coming\, and we will sen
 d you instructions on how to get to the field. Don’t forget to wear warm
  waterproof clothing if it is cold\, boots\, gardening gloves and if you h
 ave a fork and a trowel please bring them.\n\nPlease let Kate know if you 
 are coming as we only have 10 places send an email to  botanika@pt.lu to 
 confirm.\n\nAn open weekend at Botanika is planned from 3rd &amp\; 4th Jun
 e 2023 from when the volunteers can look at all their fantastic work!\n\nA
